"Community Thursdays" are a great way to get involved and see what it's all about.

​

SSA welcomes you to join us in participating in a fun and casual race aboard sailboats belonging to club members.

​​

Schedule:

  • 5:00-5:30 - Gather at Fred's Deck for registration and boat assignment
    *When demand exceeds capacity to safely accommodate everyone, priority will be given to SSA members.

  • 6:00-7:15ish - On the water (time on water is dependent on weather conditions)

  • After racing - Stowe boats and Fred's Deck social and Potluck. We're asking a different group to host the potluck each Thursday. Here is the link to signup - Potluck Signup​​

​SSA is committed to maintaining public access to Lake Pend Orielle and furthering sailing opportunities for everyone.

 

To ensure the continuation of this service:

​

  • The Sandpoint Sailing Association Hold Harmless and Statement of Responsibility agreement must be completed prior to participation.
     

  • Minors (i.e., persons under age 18) will be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. No minor shall be permitted on any vessel without the minor's parent or legal guardian onboard, unless with prior permission of the vessel owner.

By signing this document, I acknowledge the decision to participate in sailing is soley my own. I recognize and acknowledge that sailing presents special risks of personal injury, or even death. In consideration for participation in Sandpoint Sailing Association activities, on behalf of myself, my asignees, heirs and devisees, or anyone else claiming under me, I hearby waive and release the Sandpoint Sailing Association, its officers, organizers, staff, and volunteers from any and all liability, including but not limited to personal injury, death, or property loss that may be suffered by me.
