Jr. Sailing  Classes

SSA is committed to providing opportunities for young people to enjoy sailing. We offer formal classes in partnership with the City of Sandpoint Parks & Recreation as well as open sailing sessions for skill development and FUN! 

Youth Small Boat Sailing Classes - Ages 10-18

Youth Open Sailing - Ages 10-18

Click on this link, Informal Sailing Session, to learn about this opportunity to get out on the lake sailing throughout the summer including dates and requirements for participation. 

Note: Both programs will meet at Fred's Deck at the Sandpoint Windbag Marina throughout the summer. 

Jr Sailing Code of Conduct

Sailors will be held to a code of good conduct. Respect for fellow sailors, safety, equipment, and facility are paramount. When behavioral problems occur, every effort will be made to resolve the problem. If problems persist or are serious, we will contact a parent/guardian and work toward a resolution.
